Mr. Settar, son of Yaltir Ali, laid the foundations of the Yaltir companies after immigrating from Crimea and becoming one of the first settlers in the new town of Ceyhan.
Under elder brother Arif Yaltir's leadership, Abdurrahman and Ahmet brothers established an entrepreneurship, first based on agriculture and then commerce starting in 1910.
In 1967, Yaltir Brothers added agricultural industry to their entrepreneurship's belt by establishing Karatas Vegetable Oil Industrial and Commercial Enterprise.

Two decades later, in 1983, the factory was sold to Unilever. Applying their expreince in agriculture since 1800, Yaltir entrepreneurship invested in advanced agriculture technology under a new name: Yaltir Agricultural Goods Industrial and Commercial Enterprise. Strawberry fruit and mother plant production soon became the major source of revenue. Today, at a relatively smaller scale carnation and other agricultural goods are also on the product catalog.
In Ceyhan, Yaltir Brothers actively participated in all charitable acts. Keeping social responsibility in mind, they especially initiate education and healthcare services.
